About · Liz Revilla, MS, RDN, LDN, IFNCP
I do this work because I needed it first.
In my twenties, I was the picture of health—until I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease at 30. It took a different kind of practitioner to look beyond the surface and help me connect the dots. Now, I get to be that practitioner for other women.
The system missed me, then it trained me.
My story
I started my career in dietetics working with adults and children in the hospital. Then my own health unraveled—joint pain, swelling, and exhaustion that seemed to come out of nowhere. At 30, I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, and I realized that managing symptoms wasn't the same as understanding why my body was struggling. I needed to look deeper to find a real solution.
What worked was a functional approach: real testing, looking upstream at root causes, and treating my body as a system instead of a list of symptoms. I went back to school for it. I trained in functional and integrative nutrition (IFNCP), in HTMA mineral testing, GI-MAP gut testing, and DUTCH hormone testing. I built the practice I would have wanted as a patient.
Today I work mostly with women in the seasons where conventional advice tends to break down — postpartum, perimenopause, chronic gut issues, hormone shifts. My job is to be the practitioner who actually looks at the whole picture, names what's happening, and walks the path back to feeling like yourself with you.
Outside of work I'm a wife and mom, a strength training enthusiast, an obsessive sourdough baker, and a person who still goes to bed by 10pm because sleep is non-negotiable in my house.
Training & credentials
Functional, dietetic, and a lot of hours doing the actual work.
MS in Nutrition · RDN · LDN
Master's-level dietetics, board-registered (RDN), state-licensed (LDN). The foundation, not the ceiling.
IFNCP — Integrative & Functional Nutrition Certified
The clinical specialty that looks at root causes and systems rather than diagnoses in isolation.
GI-MAP · DUTCH · HTMA
Specialized training in interpreting functional labs — gut, hormones, and minerals — so testing turns into action, not anxiety.
Postpartum, perimenopause & cycle care
Continuing education in postpartum repletion, perimenopause care, and the realities of cycle health across the lifespan.
20+ Years in the Nutrition Field
The clinical hours behind the credentials. Pattern recognition is built one case at a time.
Always learning
The field is moving quickly. I take 15+ hours of continuing education a year so my clients get the current best, not the comfortable familiar.
How I practice
What you can count on from me, every time we meet.
I don't moralize food
No clean, no dirty, no good, no bad. There's food that supports the body you're in right now, and we figure out what that looks like for you.
I test what we'll act on
I don't order every panel because it's interesting. I order the ones that will change the plan — and explain exactly why.
I tell you what I don't know
If something is outside my scope, I'll say so and point you to the right specialist. Your health is bigger than my practice.
I work with your real life
Plans have to survive a Tuesday with sick kids and a deadline. If it doesn't, we redesign it. The right plan is the one you can actually live.
I take the long view
Quick wins matter and we'll go after them. But the goal is durable health — not a 30-day shift that crashes in month four.
I treat you like a partner
You're not a case. You're the expert on your life. My job is to bring the framework and the data; yours is to bring the lived experience. Together we build something that works.
If you've read this far
You probably already know what your next step is. I'd be honored to be part of it.
